The King of Limbs

What could be better on a Monday morning than hearing of a new Radiohead album……….?

Absolutely nothing that’s what, and released in 5 day’s time!

And perhaps my favourite tune of theirs (although I have hundreds): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AQSLozK7aA

I love this band more than words.

Hong Kong in the 60s

Inspired by film soundtracks, multi-lingual three-piece Hong Kong in the 60s have released a handful of intriguing tracks, combining Martin Denny-style exotica with an experimental pop sensibility. As they were preparing their next album, to be released in 2011, they put out the free instrumental album, Places. In December 2010, the band’s Chris Greenberg spoke to Adrian Arratoon about the group, film music and their plans for the future.

Forest Swords – Dagger Paths

Forest Swords - Dagger Paths

I finally got around to buying the Forest Swords EP ‘Dagger Paths’. Incredible music, simple guitar riffs drenched in reverb; from the moment I pressed play for the very first listen the music had a profound impact on me, to the extent where I was welling up. Totally original, I can’t think of anything I have heard like it before. Bloody amazing…..
