THREE TRAPPED TIGERS

Bands that want to sound like the future rarely do, then once in a while a band comes along that sound special by default because they possess natural chemistry, Three Trapped Tigers are that band, their first EP was recorded by The Srokes producer Gordon Raphael for free because he loved them so much, that EP’s now out of print and sold out of shops but it’s live that TTT’s have earnt their reputation with an intense sound bettered by few other bands. This is going to be a special gig in the belly of Bardens !

“Is the machine half-man or the man half-machine? … One of the most exciting UK bands to emerge in 2009”
BBC Music

TALONS

Talons are an experimental six piece from Hereford; two guitars, two violins, bass and drums, that’s a lot of string!

A Huw Stephens favourite, they combine heavy strokes with subtle fingers. They have just released the astounding single ‘Bethlehem’ in a split with And So I Watch You From Afar. Buy It.

“THREE GUITARS, TWO VIOLINS, A DRUM KIT AND NO VOCALS. SOUNDS SHIT ON PAPER, IS CRAZY-AMAZING IN THREE DIMENSIONS” NME

GOLD PANDA dj set

So everyone at The BBC is talking about The Sound of 2010 and whether you belive in the system or not Gold Panda is one artist definetly worth taking note of. His music is instantly recognisable as his productions scream originality and he’s kindly taking time out from recording his album to spin some beats for DCR.

CHIK BUDO

It’s Drum & Bass…………..synth, sax and mac. A dancebale fury that’s perfect for a late London Friday.

PEVIN KINEL

A solo instrumentalist that amongst other stuff beat boxes windowlicker. Enough said.

ZEKKAS TEN dj set

DCR chief spins druid dance, unless you’ve all remembered to go home.
